About Us:
Fenchurch Faris Ltd. is a registered Lloyd’s Broker with 40 years under its belt providing insurance and reinsurance risk management services across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The company was launched as a joint venture between Basim R. Faris, who is a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute in the UK, and Fenchurch PLC, an English insurance brokerage. It consists of 11 regional offices in 8 cities across the region and our clients include insurance companies, corporate entities, SME’s and individuals.
Your Role:
- Collaborates closely with the Broking Departments and reviews terms of the reinsurance activity, to release contracts in a timely and accurate manner.
- Reviews calculations of premium, prepares invoices and finalizes cover notes, to deliver a complete and accurate technical account offering to clients and finalize contracts.
- Ensures all client information and communication are recorded accurately and chases up outstanding documentation when required.
- Collaborates with the Finance & Accounts Department to resolve any possible account discrepancies.
Your Competencies & Skills:
- University degree in Accounting & Finance or any other economic background
- Working experience of 1-2 years, preferably in the insurance/reinsurance sector
- Fluency in English (other languages are considered a plus)
- Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Good analytical skills, attention to detail and a problem-solving attitude
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- High level of integrity, confidentiality and ownership
